A soldier waterboarded his four-year-old daughter because she was unable to recite her alphabet.
Joshua Tabor admitted to police he had used the CIA torture technique because he was so angry.
As his daughter 'squirmed' to get away, Tabor said he submerged her face three or four times until the water was lapping around her forehead and jawline.
Tabor, 27, who had won custody of his daughter only four weeks earlier, admitted choosing the punishment because the girl was terrified of water.

Wartime creates conditions that strip away the thin veneer of civilization, and that's why I always consider war to be a LAST resort - as opposed to the neocons who view war as the solution everything.

All troops are trained to be aggressive, violent and sadistic killers, and American troops have been unleashed on a civilian population for the best part of a decade. It's hardly surprising that some soldiers returning soldiers returning from Iraq or Afghanistan will be unable to cope with civilian life. The real problem is when they all come back - look what happened in Germany after WWI.

Well they're certainly not trained to be cuddly pacifists and nor should they be. Frankly, if they're called on to protect American citizens from foreign invasion, I would expect them to be aggressive, violent or sadistic killers, otherwise they're not doing their job. My own family had no moral qualms about using kidnap, assassination and torture during the war with the fascists. My point is that, whether you agree with the war or not, there will be a lot of deranged fucks returning. More former American troops died from suicide after the Vietnam, than the number that died during the war.

Being a Brit (Sicilian... whatever your passport says), would you agree America has been the object of Muslim aggression? Would you agree we have the right to defend ourselves? Yeah, I know we funded half of these animals in the beginning to spite the Russians, but please love don't try to justify a 7th century fatwas. It doesn't compute in year 2010.
Furthermore... to compare Vietnam with our current conflict with radical Islam is.. well, dumb. Two different wars altogether.
